We provide a range of services to children and their families. We also specialise in providing quality services for Black and Minority Ethnic Children and their Families’
All families and service users have the right to a culturally competent service, whether or not they are looked after children, parents, foster carers or from any other sector in the community.
At Sansar Parenting we ensure that we offer a concerted and rigorous assessment provision to ensure that good practice and equitable services are available to all families.
We pride ourselves in operating a provision whereby Cultural Competence and Cultural Sensitivity are a priority in relation to child welfare and family support.
Our involvement ensures that we work within the cultural competence framework and always attempt to provide a good insight to family dynamics as this will no doubt influence the intervention process.

At Sansar, we recognise the need for independent assessments to be commissioned by local authorities and solicitors acting on behalf of parents/carers or guardians.
We provide a range of assessments where the children are at risk, or likely to be at risk of physical abuse, sexual abuse, emotional abuse, neglect or children involved in criminal activity. Parenting ability is professionally analysed and issues of domestic violence, mental health, learning disability, physical disability, criminal behaviour and other factors, which may impact on parenting, are considered. Parents and carers’ abilities for managing risk is also analysed and evidenced.
Our ethos in working with families is that wherever possible, children and young people should be provided with support to remain with their birth families.
